If you have scheduled your bill payment for a future date, you may want to amend or delete it. Please do not cancel your Bank of Scotland product Direct Debit without speaking to us first, as missing a monthly payment could harm your credit score in future. You can’t change a Direct Debit yourself online. If you want to change anything, such as the payment date, you’ll need to contact the company you’re paying the Direct Debit to. To view an existing Direct Debit select your account from the ‘My accounts’ page.
To pay someone you’ve paid before or to move money between your own Bank of Scotland accounts, tap the account you want to pay from the list. An additional benefit to our Direct Debit service is our insufficient funds alerts – if a Direct Debit looks like it’s going to bounce, we’ll alert you before your payment’s due. So you’ll have time to pay into your Cashplus Bank Account if needed.
Often however, you can find them on the bill itself. Please ensure you have sufficient funds in your account the day before any payments are due. To pay someone for the first time, tap ‘+ Pay someone new’ and choose the type of payment you want to make. If you’re paying someone for the first time, we’ll need to make a quick automated call to confirm the payment. To pay someone for the first time, click ‘Pay someone new +’ and enter the payee’s details. Please make sure you have the correct spelling before continuing.
Tap the three dots next to the relevant account to and select ‘Standing orders & Direct Debits’. Enter the payee’s details and then tap ‘Continue’. The payee’s account details will be checked automatically.
Usually we will send standing orders from your Bank of Scotland bank account through the Faster Payments Service. This means payments will normally arrive in the receiving account on the same day they leave your account. You don’t need to do anything to send your standing orders faster; we do this automatically.
Once you have paid an organisation or person in online banking once, you will not need to re-enter their details. A Direct Debit is an instruction authorising another organisation to collect varying amounts of money from your account. The amount being debited to your account and the payment date may be changed by the collecting organisation, but they should inform you in advance. Examples of use include monthly mortgage payments and payment of utility bills.
However, some can take up to 4 working days to arrive. This depends on the type of account you are paying. To delete the payment, select the icon which looks like a cross. You will be asked to enter your password to confirm the deletion of your payment. If you do not have these details, you may need to contact the organisation or person who sent you the bill and ask for them.

You make bill payments in the same way you would pay another person. Paying bills online, such as your electricity, gas or phone bill is easy and convenient. If you’re cancelling a Direct Debit before making a final payment, you should also always tell the company you’re paying. Tap ‘Amend’ to change the payment details or ‘Delete’ to cancel the payment. Your standing order is now set up and will start on the date you requested.
Click ‘More actions’ next to the relevant account, then select ‘Direct Debits and standing orders’ followed by ‘Set up a standing order’. You can set up Direct Debits to be paid from your Cashplus Account. Just set these up with payeer pay ru the company you want to pay and provide your Cashplus Account details.
